The price for undergraduate and PhD students is 1500 Swedish kronor (SEK), and 2300 SEK for non-students.

Accomodation and how to get there

How to get there:

By plane: Book a flight to Copenhagen Airport or Malmö airport. From Copenhagen airport you can reach Lund central station with a direct train connection. From Malmö airport there are direct flight buses that go to the conference venue (bus stop 'Ideon Gammahuset') or to Lund central train station.

By train: Book a train to Lund Central train station.

Directions towards the conference venue and to hotels Elite Hotel Ideon and Hotell Ideon gästeri: It is a 25 minute walk from the train station, or you can take a taxi or the regional yellow buses no. 169 or 171 in the north-bound direction, where you pay with your credit card. You should go off at the bus stop 'Lund Ideon'.

If you'd like to stay close to the conference venue IKDC, there are two hotels at affordable prices, Elite hotel Ideon (Deluxe single room 1129 SEK, or double room 1229 SEK if you tell the hotel reception that you book as a guest at Lund University) and Hotel Ideon gästeri (standard single room 1058 SEK, standard double room 1394 SEK if you tell the hotel that you book as a guest for the ICOAAMS conference at Lund University).

If you'd like to stay in Lund City, there are two affordable alternatives, StayAt (standard single room 1142 SEK, double room 1344 SEK, larger single room 1400 SEK, larger double room 1512 SEK if you say that you are guest at ICOAAMS and Lund University) and MoreHotels.

If you'd like to stay at another hotel, other hotel options are also marked on the Lund map.

Conference Venue

The conference is held at Ingvar Kamprad Design Centre (IKDC), Sölvegatan 26, Lund, at the Lund University campus.
Please download the map above to your computer for a larger view. IKDC is situated to the north-east and marked on the map. The two hotels Elite Ideon and Ideon Gästeri are marked and placed very close to IKDC. Hotels in Lund City StayAt and MoreHotels are also marked on the map. Lund central train station is situated on the west part of the map.

Keynote speakers

June 13, 10:15-11:00. Invited speaker Claus Nielsen


Title of his talk: Atmospheric chemistry of reduced nitrogen compounds

Claus Nielsen is from the Department of Chemistry at University of Oslo. His research focuses on photochemical and photolytic degradation of atmospheric trace gases, as well as other topics related to processes on the molecular level. In recent years one of the main research topics have been reduced nitrogen compounds, amines and amides, of potential use for Carbon Capture and Storage processes.

Title of his talk: Intermolecular interactions in the atmospheric clusters


Lin Du obtained his PhD from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. He was awarded 1000 Plan Program for Young Talents by China government in 2014 and is now professor at Shandong University. His research interests include spectroscopy, atmospheric chemistry, aerosol surface chemistry, and air pollution control.

June 14, 09:00-09:45. Invited speaker Penny Vlahos



Title of her talk: “Sea Spray- Climate’s best kept Secret”

Dr. Vlahos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Connecticut. Her research deals with environmental thermodynamics and the biogeochemical cycling of key elements and compounds. She is currently visiting as a Fulbright Specialist at the University of Aarhus.
